I think this miniaturisation thing is contagious.
Once you start making things smaller, suddenly everything seems fair game for a spot of size reduction.
Even things that are already pretty small, like my Christmas mice…
I had a sudden thought that really, mice should be small.
So I made another one that was even smaller – just a couple of inches big.
I also found that I had something of a collection of little empty boxes. And I thought that maybe the two things should get acquainted…
But then I had another thought…
My little rodent could equally have a pin added at the back and go see the world on someone’s lapel!
Decisions, decisions….
So which do you think is the better idea – miniature mousey shadow box, or rodenty brooch? ♥
Choices, choices…..I think I’d go for a brooch. Fabulous work as ever. xx
Love the Matchbox Meeces, but I agree, a Lapel Mouse is stylish! I think children would love the secret surprise nature of the Matchbox Mice, though. Tininess is a perennial favourite with children
I’m no help, because I like both ideas! Love your creations and your blog!
Both!
I love both ideas too! A little co-ordinating box to display the mousey in is a fab idea – a ready made work of art 🙂
