As you may have noticed, I lost my blogging mojo a bit last week.
I started writing a number of posts, but for reasons of heat, fatigue and a general sort of ‘summer time and the livin’ is easy’-ness in the air, they just didn’t get finished.
In fact, not a lot got done at all. There was some semi-conscious tennis watching. And napping. The two being not entirely unrelated.
The week was then followed up with a weekend party at my friends’ house in the country, during which I ate a lot of cheese, watched a bunch of children (lad included) perform an impromptu musical concert, and did a lot of smiling, at the general loveliness of it all.
But now it is a new week – and a lot cooler. So to kick-start things, I gave my fabric cabinets a long overdue tidy-up.
There’s something very therapeutic about sorting and folding fabric.
Ahhh, that’s so much better.
Wonder how long it’ll stay like that? ♥
I was just letting my weary eyes rest on the last photo of your shelves of neatly folded fabrics when it occurred to me what an absolutely fabulous fabric print it would make with only the tiniest bit of tweaking. Get yourself over to Spoonflower this minute! If you design it, I’ll buy it!
Hmmm, not sure about that Kate – I just wanted to record how tidy it was whilst it lasted!
I have serious fabric envy – that’s a mighty amazing stash you have there! And I’m feeling quite wilty in the heat right now – the sun comes round in the afternoon into my “office” and at this time of year it’s a bit like a greenhouse! So I’m with you on the not getting a lot done front….
Wilty about sums it up I think!
Swoon! X
