Although I did give myself a day off from blogging, I have been busy working over the weekend.
I still haven’t had chance to restock my Etsy shop yet, but I have been making progress with some new pendants…
I love the process of matching pendants to strings.
It involves getting out lots of lovely fabrics and messing about with colour combinations. Which has to be one of my favourite ways to spend a Sunday.
Much better than going on a long and tiring bike ride, which was what lad and his dad were up to whilst I was busy.
Of course, the fabric fun is then followed up by lots of ironing before the stitching starts.
But although I’m a girl who hated ironing for most of her life, even this doesn’t seem like a chore.
Perhaps it’s because when you’re doing something you love, it doesn’t seem like work.
On the contrary, it feels much more like playing.
And every day feels like the weekend. ♥
I have to agree! I’m not a fan of ironing but when I am making it doesn’t seem like a chore at all. I live the pretty flower you have made with all your pendants and fabric strips. They will look gorgeous x
What pretty pendants these will be – I can’t wait to see the finished results! I agree completely about ironing – I’m afraid I only ever iron when sewing (or occasionally the hubby’s uniform if he’s really nice to me!). X
I pretty much only use my iron for crafting! If my husband wants ironed shirts he’ll have to learn how to use it himself! Love the new pendants, especially the little bird ones 🙂
