I have had a blog crush on All The Luck In The World for, like, years.
I first spotted Jane Schouten’s little corner of t’interweb before I even knew what a blog was, and certainly well before modflowers was even a sprinkle of a twinkle in my own eye.
Jane is an artist and vintage seller from The Netherlands who produces the sort of work and images I really wish I’d made.
She has a home to die for…
And she always seems to find the best vintage stuff too. Holland does great vintage, as anyone who has ever visited an Amsterdam flea market will be able to testify.
I mean, just look at these!
I have no idea what these mushrooms with handles actually are (Jane doesn’t elucidate on that) but gosh, don’t I wish I could find stuff like that when I’m out thrifting?!
I mean, I do all right, but really, if I were the jealous type I could be driven to clawing out eyes right about now…
Fortunately Jane doesn’t spend all her time making other people jealous with her finds.
She actually sells some of them in her online shop, alongside her postcards and handmade treasures, and other carefully selected goodies.
Her needlework, which uses old woollen blankets and other bits of repurposed stuff, often including a plus sign motif, is inspiration personified…
The All The Luck In The World website has just had a major overhaul and looks beautiful, just like everything else Jane produces.
I’m off to have another browse now…
I may be some time. ♥
Pepper grinder toadstools, maybe? Very pretty stuff, and a gorgeous website.
Thanks for introducing me to ATLITW – how wonderful to find such a lovely blog/shop 🙂
