I don’t think I have ever done so much washing in one weekend as I have during this one just gone.
It’s not that we are a particularly filthy family. No more than average, anyway – I hope. Nor have we done anything (such as camping) that has left us in a particularly dirty state.
No, it’s just that it feels that weekends in which it is warm and breezy enough outside to dry those stubborn household items (bath mats, curtains, sofa covers, bedding) are, before too long, going to be few and far between.
Plus, my man was away. So being the giddy gadabout that I’m not, I thought I’d better make the most of it and get on with a spot of household stain removal.
The nicest of my washing chores by far was this vintage quilt cover, bought at a charity shop the other day for a few quid.It is the perfect colour of blue sky…
(and yes, that is one photograph below, not two!)
It is destined for the chop of course.
Now, what shall I make from it first? ♥
Looks like a beautiful day. We haven’t seen one of those in a while it seems. The rain is already here. I’m anxious to see what you decide to make. 🙂
Same here … I must have washed five loads of washing yesterday … I was running around grabbing anything and popping it in for a freshen up … love your new floral … the perfect blue … Bee xx
Great pictures–looks like a perfect day!
Hi,
I think sky blue makes us feel relaxed and fresh all the day. That a great choice..!
Thanks
