You may remember these bracelets.
During a recent cupboard clear-out I came across them languishing in a tupperware box, where they had been stashed whilst I decided what to do about them.
The problem was that a friend who bought one from me at Christmas had said that the buttons kept popping off. Not good.
I was loathe to sell any more until I found a way to make sure that nobody else had the same problem.
It occurred to me that now I have new glue that is as sticky as a very sticky thing, this might be a good project to give it a run for it’s money.
So I re-stuck all the bracelet buttons. And what a fiddly sticky job it was, too.
Once they’ve had a night to set properly we’ll see whether they are still pop-off-able. I do hope not.
In fact they’d better not even think about popping off, or they’ll have me to reckon with.
Whilst the glue was out I also made these:
I’m not sure why they call these bobby pins. Who was Bobby anyway?
Bobby pins, hair grips… whatever you call them, I quite like them and I might even make a few more.
Something old, something new. They’re all stuck with my glue.
Let’s hope they stay stuck – like they’re supposed to. 🙂
Fingers crossed. They are quite lovely!
i love the hair grips! im terrible at loosing them though!
Good question, who was bobby? I do love the bracelets and bobby pins.
Cheers,
Lynda
Very nice… and I am sure supremely stuck. x
