I think I must work best to deadlines…
In fact, I know I do. It’s not that I don’t plan ahead, I do – I just usually know exactly how late I can reasonably leave stuff and still get it done. And I can’t seem to get really motivated until time starts to run a tad short.
Looks like lad is the same, judging by his somewhat last-minute preparations for his end of year exams.
Anyway, I made great progress yesterday towards filling up my stall by completing three more wordy appliqué cushions.
I think that’s about it for me in terms of making-time.
The rest of the available hours between now and Saturday’s Secret Garden Craft Fair will be devoted to planning my display, sprucing up my props, packing my stall stuff and installing my work in the Sue Ryder Shop in Sherwood in time for the Art In Shops exhibition.
So I won’t be slacking off.
Here’s hoping that it’s a good day on Saturday…
For weather, for takings, and for cool nice fun. ♥
Wow! and Fab!
I’m hoping you’ll eventually extend the range to Oooh! Soft! Aaah! Comfy! Pretty! Bright! Funky! and of course not forgetting Mine! (especially for my end of the sofa…). The Husband would probably also want one called Snooze, but that’s a whole other story!
Fab suggestions as always Kate! Yay! (there’s another one!)
I love these cushions. Wish I could make it to your craft fair!
Bit of a long trip from Cairns!
They’re fabulous – love your appliqué words – such a great idea x
Thanks Zoë – I am trying to think of other suitable words. So far “nice” has been the runaway winner!
