Once upon a summertime, a plan was hatched.
But as some plans do, this plan kind of stalled a bit. The plan was to make a fairy doll.
Things started well. But there were things about the fairy doll that needed to be worked out.
This fairy was to have some kind of horns / antlers / antennae, as well as wings.
She also gained a crown of tiny bells and a tulle skirt.
It all took a bit longer than making something familiar.
And I may just have neglected other things in the process. A somewhat bored lad lounging on the sofa would probably agree.
But now, I think this fairy might be ready to fly. ♥
She’s fabulous; I particularly like her embroidered violets…
She is made from a fragment of an old linen tray cloth, upon which these were embroidered.
She is so pretty! Now she just needs her fairy wand!
I was going to make her one and ran out of time – wanted to get her photo taken before the light faded!
