I mentioned before how coming up with a new design can take time.
Especially when the finished item has to function properly, as well as just look nice.
Well, today was a series of trials and errors.
I’ve been working on perfecting the mouse phone case. Smoothing out the rough edges. But it hasn’t been all plain sailing.
In fact, I made lots of errors. And at times, it felt like a bit of a trial.
There’s certainly been lots of unpicking involved in today’s quest for perfection. I was struggling to work out which order to do things in, and had to keep back-tracking when I got it wrong.
I actually got really annoyed with myself for not being able to find my way through something that, on the face of it, seemed like it should have been quite simple.
In the end, when I’d sussed it out, I wrote it all down. In order. Just to make sure I won’t have to go through all that again next time, when I forget what I’m doing.
This was the first one where I managed to get the process right.
Though, he’s not as perfectly-sized as I’d like; he’s a little long in the body.
I’m not sure that I’ve reached rodent phone case nirvana yet.
But at least now I have a road map, to help get me there. ♥
These mice remind me of the mice on the mouse organ…..heave,heave,heave…..
You’re not the first to mention that!
