Apologies to those who have already seen this on Facebook or Instagram, but it’s the only photo I took yesterday!
The new gazebo was wonderful. It didn’t actually rain, but I just would’ve felt too exposed – and vaguely ridiculous – without it, sitting in a car park behind a tableful of cushions.
I didn’t actually sell very much. But the music was entertaining. I chatted a bit. And I recognised a few faces from my childhood.
I spotted the ex-Scout leader, looking somewhat frail. And a relative of one of my nanna’s friends that we used to visit when I was quite small.
And the man who ran the independent “alternative” school bus, which always used to feel to me like being an extra in this St Trinian’s film when you were riding it.
And I didn’t blub.
All in all, a good day. ♥
I’m so glad you had a great day! I’m certain that if you hadn’t had the gazebo it would have rained…
Aha! I see that Sweetie has found a new home! Does this mean you no longer want the other tweetie – or are you giving a home to a pair of love birds?! 🙂
I’ll send you a paypal invoice. I’m doing your pendant tomorrow, so I’ll send one invoice with everything on it (including postage) when that is done, if that’s ok with you?
I had a stall at Spitalfields in East London yesterday…enjoyed my day very much but not as many sales as I would have liked….so many compliments on my work but just so hard to get people to part with their hard earned cash at the moment!
I agree!
Your stall looks superb. I think the gazebo is definitely a good investment. It adds an element of professionalism.
