No, not you dear blog readers!

I was referring to my plushies! 😉

As you can see, I had a lovely productive afternoon yesterday whilst lad was out having fun at the Space Centre in Leicester.

Bernette was behaving herself and there was a good stash of Earl Grey and a plate of delicious leftovers (tomato tart and potato salad) in the kitchen, so I didn’t even need to stop sewing to make myself a sandwich.

And the result? One hippo in a tutu, one smiley lion, a big red bus, a fish, a snail and a queen of hearts.

I just need to finish off the  stuffing and hand stitching.

It’s amazing how much stuffing can fit into one of those little creations!

As well as the bulbous Singer (which incidentally has now gone to a new home via Freegle) I also inherited an ENORMOUS box of polyester stuffing material from my partner’s late dad. We have no idea what it was doing in his loft, but it has come in jolly handy for me.

I am working my way through it nicely with all my recent makes.

As well as the plushies I also turned out another tweetie. I think I’m going to have to call this one Lovely, as I think she’s my favourite so far.

I love this green heart fabric from Finland!

She’ll take a fair bit of stuffing, but that’s ok.

There’s still plenty left. ♥
