I could have had a stall this weekend. But I passed.
My man is away and it wouldn’t really have been fair on lad.
So instead, we went to The Stuff of Life Festival as punters – and looked at other people’s stalls.
Including my friend Maria’s, who was selling a selection of her gorgeous Sunshine vintage stock…
I managed to resist… well, mostly.
Stuff of Life takes place in a little park surrounded by Victorian houses and industrial architecture, near to where we used to live, tucked away in the backstreets next to an old pikelet factory.
There was lots of other good stuff there too…
Lad and I shared lots of lovely treats.
The only thing we forgot was to pick up some samosas on the way home from the best samosa shop in Nottingham (it’s on Berridge Road, Forest Fields, in case you were wondering).
But with what we’d already had, we wouldn’t have been able to manage them anyway.
We were far too stuffed. ♥
That sounds like an absolutely wonderful day! I wish I lived near that. Oh the things to be had! I’m glad you had some precious time with lad.
It looks fab! I want those little kitties in the first photo! so cute 🙂
Maria might still have them – you could ask her via her facebook page https://www.facebook.com/SunshineLovelyVintageStuff
Her prices are extremely reasonable!
Mmm. Vintage yumminess and thoughts of samosas!! Wow. What a fun day. Back from a two week trip and catching up on all of your modflowerness 🙂
I hope you had a lovely trip! By the way, I never said “congratulations” on your being featured by WordPress as an example of fab blog design!
Thank you! It was a treat to be written up. Trip was great. Now I’m recovering. First day back to work today. *sigh*
