So here it is! The brand-new modflowers website!
To celebrate my launch day I am running a giveaway – to win one of my brand new kooky kitty pockets!
All lovingly hand made from the finest sturdy vintage and new materials, this particular kooky cat is the very first of his kind!
His mouth opens to reveal contrast fabric lining (no raw edges!) and he is backed in funky wood-panel-print canvas fabric.
Just big enough for a phone, a purse and maybe a lipstick… or perhaps for a young-un to carry.
He will, at the winner’s request, be finished with a matching detachable strap. Or left as a pouch / make-up bag, if you prefer.
This snaggle-toothed feline is the prototype for a whole series of kooky kitties that will be appearing in my shop in the not too distant future.
(Basically as soon as I get a hold of a few components I need to turn them from perky pockets into proper little pouch bags with matching shoulder straps).
All you have to do to be in with a chance to win my peculiar pockety pussycat is to:
1. follow this blog, and
2. leave a comment on this post, telling me why you would like to win my feline friend.
If you already followed my old wordpress.com blog, please re-follow me here at modflowers.co.uk – and leave me a comment telling me you have done so. You’ll see the links to follow in my sidebar, just over there to the right. Following me by bloglovin is fine too, as long as you comment and tell me.
I asked wordpress to transfer over all my existing followers but I have so far heard nothing from them, so it’s a bit of a belt-and-braces incentive not to lose everyone, should wordpress not want to play nicely.
Please note: the giveaway is for the yellow pocket puss only: the other members of the gang will be available shortly to purchase (and you will be able to order a custom fabric version too!).
The giveaway will close at midnight on 20th April 2014.
Good luck if you decide to join in – and thank you for visiting my new home.
I hope it’ll be the first of many happy visits. ♥
Hellooooo! Love the new blog design – huge congrats on getting it all done! I’d love to enter your giveaway too, please 🙂 I follow you via Bloglovin (and the rest!) and I’d love to win your kooky cat because he’s happy and fabulous and makes me smile 🙂
What a lovely pouch, i would love to win this because on those gloomy april showers this pouch would brighten up my day.Fingers crossed.
So cute! I follow you via feedly and facebook.
Thanks Jennifer! Facebook follows don’t count for this giveaway, but feedly is fine!
My sprogs already call me a crazy cat lady so I’m thinking this lady needs a crazy cat! (Albeit a cute one!)
I definitely entered . . don’t know where it went . . anyhow . . as I said before . . . what’s not to want ? . . it combines my two favourite things . . 70s fabric and cats :0)
I follow you by email, I love the fabric and think the pockety pussycat is just fab!x
Happy new home – I love the wallpaper and decor! I have added your new site to my blogger reading list, and I’d love to win that kooky kitty to hold some of my machine embroidery threads – she’s look lovely on my dresser! Xx
Hello, I did leave a reply but it disappeared!! So because I want the pussyc at purse so much I’m entering again! Congrats being featured in Molly Makes! You’re famous! X
Thanks Claire – I’m so sorry your comment disappeared – my entire blog disappeared during launch day due to a technical problem with my web host – the site went down and I contacted them to find that the entire blog’s content had been somehow deleted (not by me!). The site was reinstated via a back-up, but lost the most recent bits and bobs when it was put back up – I think that’s why the comments disappeared.
Love the cat purse!!!
I’m following you via email
Would love to win this for my cat mad mum to cheer her up with its lovely bright, cheery colours.
Following on Bloglovin, Happyhomebird
I absolutely adore it! Love, love, love, love, love! I have still been receiving your feed via bloglovin, but I went ahead and followed again just in case it cuts off at some time. I haven’t been visiting as often as I usually do. :/ I guess I’ve caught the instagram bug. 🙂
