I know I’ve only myself to blame.
I should really know better by now. But I just can’t seem to help myself.
Every time I pop to the local shops for food shopping I resolve not to go into the expensive charity shop.
About three times out of every five I break my promise to myself and just pop in for a little look, thinking “it’s not as if I’ll buy anything.”
And each time this happens, there is something there for me. Something lovely that I just can’t resist.
Like vintage trims…
Or useful bits of vintage haberdashery…
They weren’t really expensive.
Just a little bit more than they would have been had they turned up in any of the other charity shops along the way.
The money does go to a good cause, after all. Although it did mean that I had to get some more money for my proper shopping.
I just wish that the lure of that place wasn’t quite so irresistable. ♥
Great finds! You will use them eventually, so no loss there. I wish I had a shop like that here…I’d go crazy!
I don’t always find such beauties Jane, but I have had a number of nice finds in that particular shop!
They are lovely trims… I wouldn’t have been able to resist either X
Resistance is futile! Definitely where pretty trims are concerned. 😉 Bee xx
