It’s always difficult deciding how best to spend the limited time in the week on the run-up to a stall.
I had decided not to make anything else for Craft in the City this coming weekend.
I have commissions to complete, and gallery stock to sort out, and things to list on Etsy, and plenty of other stuff to do.
And I figured that as things had been a little quieter than expected at the Pretty Dandy Flea, I still had a goodly amount of stock and should just go with the flow and sell what I have, rather than flogging myself to fit in making more.
But, as usual, I’m not very good at sticking to the plan. Even when there is one.
I make lists, but then I abandon them. Or I rewrite them without actually ticking anything off. Or I find myself overtaken by events.
I wasted much of the morning sorting out confusion with our train tickets to London. Then there was a trip to the post office.
I didn’t have that long before it was time to take lad for his guitar lesson. (The axe-boy cometh!)
Some fabrics just spoke to me…
So I made another owl. ♥
Love him! I received my goodies yesterday! It may sound silly, but one of my favorite things about the owls is the angle of the legs. My kids like the legs too.
I hope you’re able to cross some things off those lists! 🙂
I’m so glad they arrived safely Erica! It’s always a worry sending stuff off in the post, especially this time of year and on such a long journey!
I have to say, I still haven’t quite mastered getting the owls’ legs at the right angle every time. Because they’re attached inside out I have to kind of judge the position backwards and unseen – so sometimes I get a surprise when I see how they turn out!
It looks very cute!!
Oh he’s lovely! Time jolly well spent I’d say!
