I’m feeling quite pleased with myself.
I’ve actually done what I said I would. I’ve followed Kate’s suggestion and made up some little scrap bags to sell.
A lot of ironing was involved. And a fair bit of snipping. But now they are snipped and pressed and packaged and done and popped into my new old tin to sell on my stall at the weekend.
Some packs have novelty buttons, or bits of ribbon or braid, patchwork hexies or embellishments in them.
All have lots of tiny colourful fabric snippings from my big bag of leftover bits, amassed from recent and not-so-recent projects.
They would be perfect for appliqué, perhaps to sew a design onto a purse. Or to snip into tiny flags for a mini garland, to make little decorations or pictures with. Or to trim a pocket. Or make a pincushion or two.
Or just pin them on your noticeboard to inspire you!
Well I’d buy them…
But then I’ve always been a sucker for little bags of lovely. ♥
They really are lovely! Please can you make some to sell to us folk who can’t get there this weekend? Please, pretty please?
Ooh, lovely. How cleverly you’ve mixed the colours and made everything so appealing. I’ll be very surprised if you don’t sell quite a few of those. Hopefully it will be worth your snipping while… It’s as pretty as a sweet shop display.
PS, thank you for linking to my blog, not once, but twice!
You’re welcome Kate!
brilliant, love them! And I would buy them too

They’re wonderful!
Can I buy them on line?
Hi Pip, I don’t have any online at the moment, but next week, after my stall, I’m going to revamp my online shop and add some to it. I’ll let you know when they’re available!
