Strictly speaking, I shouldn’t be posting these as they’re not really mine to post.
My friend Maria has a fabulous eye for vintage treasures, as I know from sharing a stall with her.
I’m helping her to turn her collection of vintage British souvenir tea towels into lovely cushions.
She has lots of beautiful ones, from lots of locations, of which these are just a couple for starters…
I actually got to witness Maria in action the other day. We met up and did a few local charity shops together.
No slouch on the thrifting front myself, I have to say, I was impressed.
Whilst I dithered over unsuitable records and got distracted by kids’ shorts, Maria scooped up another fabulous haul of…
…vintage tea towels!
Jealous? Moi? Not really. Well, maybe just a teensy bit.
But at least I get to play with them! And we may have another thrifting date next week.
Wonder if there’ll be any more tea towels…?
That’s a lovely idea!! 🙂 vintage is chic
Oooh, I love the BPL one.
I need some of these form the camper van!

Great idea, isn’t it great when you have a like minded soul to go thrifting with!
Yes, it is very enjoyable – at least, until you both spot the same bargain!
