Hello!
Today I am showing you a very simple five minute craft to decorate the festive table. I love eating by candlelight and this year I wanted to have some candles in jars and give them garlands made from natural materials.
So all I did was use an old sweetie jar I had in the house, wrapped around some natural coloured twine several times and then fixed in a large piece of holly. And that’s it! Simple but quite chic. I’m going to make another couple of them and have them as a centrepiece on my Christmas table.
In the picture below I’ve teamed the candles with a card and picture my son has made for me. These decorations are some of the most precious and I’ll hang on to them forever.
I’m back tomorrow for one last guest post, until then, have a lovely day and thanks for all your comments. x
Just lovely Jen … the berries are beautiful … I can’t find any holly with berries on here … the birds must have eaten them all … have a lovely day today too … Bee xx
Very pretty Jen! And so simple too to make too. x
Very gorgeous. And simple to do, too. A few of these will look so pretty lined up and flickering away on your Christmas lunch table. x
