My mum used to be very fond of saying, amongst other things, that nobody’s perfect.
And not everything I make turns out perfectly, either.
This mini moggy suffered a setback during the making process. I was cutting out something else, he was lurking beneath on my work table and his ear got snipped into.
I fixed it with some interfacing and a bit of sneaky stitching. But then, just as I had his photos all done and was editing them ready to add him to my Etsy shop, I spotted another boob.
The stitching on his collar must’ve meandered a bit closer to the edge than it should have, and the fabric has pulled away.
He’s just as loveable, but imperfect.
So I’ve decided to give him away.
To be in with a chance of winning him, just leave a comment on this post (click on the little speech bubble symbol next to the title of this post to add your comment) telling me why you would like to give him a home.
Entries must be received before midnight GMT on Friday 5th December.
It would be lovely if you could spread the word by pinning, sharing and tweeting the news too, should you be so inclined, although it’s not required for entry to the giveaway.
I will pick a winner at random and I’m happy to post worldwide, but cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas if you are a long way away.
I will announce the winner on 6th December.
Good luck! ♥
He is lovely and would be very welcome to come and live with me in Cornwall xx
Good morning… I would like to adopt your moggy because I would like to give him to my sister who loves cats a lot, but whose other half has an allergy to cats! Moggy would be cherished!!
Good Miaowning from the Crazy Cat Lady Hotel! All shapes and sizes welcomed, and positively encouraged! We specialise in the unfixable, the unlovable, and the ‘Is that even a cat?’ kind of customer. Shabby Short-Ear would be a very pampered guest! xxx
Shabby Short-Ear – fab name! He sounds like a character in a storybook!
I Love him, wonky bits and all. Wouldn’t life be boring if everything were purrfect? I’d love to win him *crossing fingers and paws* xxx
I would love to win him,as I am allergic to cats so can’t have a real one, and I love the fact that he isn’t perfect, it only adds to his fabulously shifty character! x
What a lovely idea! A lovely moggie and I would be proud to have him sitting in my home 🙂
I woI’ll love to win him just because he is cute and I would give him a happy home with me in County Durham!
Would!! I would love to win him!
he could join the rest of the clowder . . . I’m sure they’d love a little more company :0)
He certainly wouldn’t be lonely Riva!
When I got a cat of my very own she was still a littly kitty, but poor little kitty was feral and from a rescue home, she was not quite perfect either with a crooked tail and an odd meow. Her stitching was a little undone too I think, but with lots of love and reasurance she turned out to be such a wonderfull little friend!, She never did grow very much more but has a large heart in A very furry body.
My Rosie would love the feline company as she sleeps on my bed, thank you for the chance to win xxx
Such a lovely story… we had a cat like that once, too. Found on a building site. It took her years to fully trust us, but once she did she was the happiest, most affectionate creature I’ve ever known. I do miss her.
So cute!
You are wonderfully creative and so pleasently inspiring.
Thank you for sharing this love of seeing beauty within.
xx
My little girl mini moggy is lonely and would love a marvelous mini moggy mate! I do believe he is just perfect! (Purr…fect!)
I’d love him to help add a little bit of warmth to the rather soulless 1 bed flat I live in right now. It’s a stop gap, but I long for a big sprawling 3 bed Victorian semi… Stuffed to the gunnels with crafty mess and handmade lovelies. Be mine little moggy, be mine!
With these little imperfections, this gorgeous kitty looks like he needs a lot of pampering and TLC. I have been practicing for several years as the lead kitty pamperer in my house so think I would be well qualified for the job!
I would love to give this moggy a home, I have got some brand new white shelves that would be the perfect home! I hope I win!
“True perfection has to be imperfect – I know that it sounds crazy but it’s true!” Noel Gallagher. So he really is perfect.
I love this little guy! And love him just the way he is! He would be well taken care of here with me and be apart of a good home! I have always thought your moggie kitties were just lovely and I love the fabric you use too! I know just were I would put him xxx happy holidays everyone!!!
Nobody’s perfect but everybody has a unique gift to share! x
Good morning! We would looove to give this mini moggie a new home because my childhood cat recently passed away at 19. He would be the perfect present to take to my mum who lives in Paris and was very heartbroken. This little feline would have a very cosmopolitan life sipping espresso whilst watching the world go by near the Eiffel tower, meeting with other French feline friends sporting their berets I’m sure..xxx.
