Last night I just wasn’t feeling it.
Perhaps I hadn’t quite fully recovered from last weekend’s disappointing stall.
I certainly had a cold. My nose was streaming, my head felt fuzzy and my instinct was telling me that I should be in bed.
After lugging a trunk and a suitcase cross town from the bus stop (lad helpfully carried my other big bag for me, bless him!) and up two flights of stairs, all I really wanted to do was collapse.
But, trouper that I am, I set up stall on Hopkinson’s top floor and waited, along with my fellow stallholders, for the punters.
My instinct also told me that they were not coming in any abundance.
And I’m sorry to say that my instinct was proven correct.
But all was not lost.
As it was so quiet, I did have time for a darned good rummage amongst Hopkinson’s treasures.
Although, they might look a bit ropey here because I only had my phone to record them with.
I can’t show you exactly what I bought. Christmas secrets are involved.
Suffice to say that I was not disappointed.
And I hope the recipients won’t be either.♥
Looks like a treasure trove – glad there were some positives!
So many wonderful things to be had! Hope you’re feeling better! Also, might I purchase that fox head in the basket if you haven’t already sold him? 🙂
Of course Erica! The fox is £3.50 + postage – I shall pop to the post today and let you know how much.
Oh Erica, in my mad rush to sort everything out before coming down to London I forgot to take your fox to the post office. I am so sorry!
I will be able to sort it out on my return from London on Friday, if that’s not too late. My apologies again!
