Sometimes you just stumble across something on the interweb that makes you take a sharp intake of breath.
Like the above image.
That chair! That fabric! I just went “wow!”
This classic Eames club chair has been daringly reupholstered by chez bohème, an Etsy emporium catering for “the artfully uninhibited home”.
Thankfully, I am not tempted to spend money I do not have to possess said chair, since:
a) although the picture makes great eye candy, it wouldn’t really go in my house,
b) it is prohibitively expensive ($1,150), and
c) it is located in Shelburn, Vermont, USA.
The upholstery fabric is an African wax print.
Armed with this fact, I went on a bit of a trawl for other examples of these striking fabrics.
Enjoy!
I love them all! Well found! I love the chair and would consider re decorating my house to match it!!
Oh yes, that chair is a beauty … but then I do have a chair fetish .. I love old chairs reupholstered in new fabrics … and what gorgeous prints … thanks for sharing … Bee xx
