Hello Everyone!
This year, I’ve really enjoyed playing with my P’s.
Not the green, round vegetable variety, (although I do like those), but the Printers Tray, Paint, Paste and Paper variety! (Vintage Wallpaper, of course!)
I’ve absolutely, LOVED making these! I hadn’t anticipated how long each would take to clean, paint, then pop in the wallpaper, but it was truly a labour of love!
Have I told you I’m a Vintage Wallpaper Addict?
I loved matching up the wallpaper, so that you can actually see their designs, I haven’t seen it done in this way before!
Most have them have moved onto new homes now, although I was soooo tempted to keep them all, especially when I saw them lined up on my chest of drawers! But guess what! I have some more! These were little baby ones, but I now have some of the larger ones to play with!
Such delights, they are looking very sad and unloved at the moment, but I know with a little, Paint, Paste and Paper they will soon look lovely too!
I will leave you with some more lovely images, do you love them too?
May I just take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year, hope its a creative one for you!
Ada 🙂 x
p.s. Sorry the photo’s are a little on the small side, I have instructions on how to make them bigger but it involves pixels and numbers, both of which I’m not good with!
The spacing is also rather bizarre too! Although it looks perfectly ok on my draft post!
Mr Bea, my technical sidekick, is somewhat busy, so, if you get a moment, whilst you are enjoying yourself in the sun (it’s chucking it down with rain here today!) could you work your magic on them! Thanks! 🙂 x
Oh Ada – they are beautiful!!! I love the placement of the papers and all the fab colours. I don’t think I could bear to part with them!
Wishing you a fabulous 2013!
Thank you! 🙂 x
Pictures primped and posted petal! (you see what I did there?)
LOVE your printers trays Ada. They are truly works of beauty. I must show them to my creative niece. I was only talking about your boxes to her yesterday after she actually made herself a lovely wooden box: I can just imagine it lined with pretty paper and mounted on her bedroom wall as a shelf. She sews too! She is really very talented.
Takes after her Aunty! 🙂 x
they are AMAZING!!! I Happy New Year to you x
Thank you! 🙂 x
just gorgeous- the colleged papers are so beautifully put together. fantastic!
Thank you! 🙂 x
As you know, Ada I love these … and I know the work involved … I completed a tiny house shelf a while back with about nine little holes … so pretty though … well worth it … Bee xx
Thanks Bee, they take hours to complete but actually I find it really relaxing, crafty meditation! 🙂 x
I love these! I did a similar project recently, but mine isn’t quite so colourful and eye-catching. You’ve inspired me to get some more trays. Thanks 🙂
