I’ve had in mind to have a go at making a peacock cushion for a while now. I just thought; all those bright patterned fabrics, it might work…
So, having been all creatively fired up to try new things by yesterday’s sewing course, I had a go at sketching one out.
Then I got out the calico and made up a trial run version.
I learned a lot from my pilot peacock. There are things I will change.
It’s head is too square. I need to work on the shape a bit. And the decorative bits on the tail. And the feet are too small.
But all in all, I don’t dislike it.
It is a peacock with potential.
And it makes a decent backrest for my sewing chair… ♥
This is a perfect addition!
