modflowers: pink floral fabric

Once upon a time, not so very long ago in the grand scheme of things, I bought some pink floral fabric on ebay.

There it is, in the photo above.

When it arrived, there was absolutely LOADS of it. Far more than I had expected.

And so, I still have quite a lot of it left to this day.

Then, just recently, I bought some blue floral fabric on ebay.

Here it is:modflowers: blue floral fabricWhen it arrived, there was more of it than I was expecting. And it was a different texture from my expectations, too.

It was cotton, but instead of the flat, matte finish of most cotton it has an expensive, sateeny finish. The sort that really good quality, old fashioned curtain material has.

Suddenly, I  remembered that I had some pink fabric with that same texture. Quite a lot of it, in fact.

And when I put the two fabrics together, blue and pink, it was like a reunion.

It was meant to be.

It was only right.

So I did.

All together now…

“Reunited, and it feeeels so gooood!” ♥
