It’s been a week of computer and internet issues for me, culminating in the very sudden death of my second laptop in three months.

Not fun. You kind of expect them to last a bit longer than that.

But at least good old John Lewis, whence it came, lived up to it’s reputation for customer service.

I had not realised that after 28 days of ownership, I would not automatically be entitled to a new laptop when mine failed.

But thankfully, the nice men in the techie department let me have one anyway, because I had brought the dead one back in its original box.

If they hadn’t been so obliging I would have had to wait between two weeks and a month for it to be sent to Scotland for attempted repair.

So anyway, thankfully I’m sorted now, but it has put me behind a bit.

I wanted to get these photos done earlier, but at least they’re sorted now.
