Something exciting is afoot…
It has to do with these beautiful fabrics, which I took delivery of yesterday.
They are brand new from Michael Miller fabrics and were designed by the fabulously talented Sarah Campbell, of Collier Campbell fabric design fame.
There are two colour palettes available, “Jewels” (pictured here) and “Tropics” (included in that lovely pile pictured at the top of the page.)
The designs are stunning.
I have been sent these piles of gorgeousness for a reason.
I get to start making something from them. Lucky me! But I’m not going to say what just yet.
You’ll just have to be patient.
In the meantime, why not take a look at the whole range of designs in their full glory, over on the Michael Miller website.
There’s a store / supplier locator on there too, should you wish to track down where to buy some for yourself.
I’m going to get cracking on mine today. Let’s hope my somewhat fragile creative muse does not desert me in my hour of need.
Although with beautiful colour and pattern like this to work with, I think I’ll be all right.
In fact, I think it’s going to be fun. ♥
Oh, SERIOUS fabric envy, especially the Tropics range. I just treated myself to a square metre of Michael Miller ‘Tiny Guitar Picks’ in navy and white – much too lovely to cut up, so I’m going to try and squeeze a clothe of some sort out of it. Can’t wait to see what you have up your elegantly vintage sleeve!
Thank you!
