Just a quick post to share some tasty makes from a lovely blog I just started following.
Mannagryn is compiled by Swedish blogger Amanda and documents her makes, family life and more.
She kindly agreed to let me feature some of her photos (despite admitting to having lost a little of her blogging mojo recently. Happens to the best of us, doesn’t it?)
Mannagryn translates as “semolina”, which brings back memories of an unpleasantly lumpy, grey, wallpaper paste-like concoction that they used to serve at my school at lunchtime.
I am happy to say that, as you can see, there is nothing lumpy or grey about Amanda’s makes, or her blog.
Just lots of vintage fabric prettiness and cute kids.
Before I go I also have to admit to a bit of a cock-up on the organisation front.
We are spending a few days away in Dorset and Cornwall, for Easter and my birthday. And I have forgotten to bring with me not only my hair straighteners (which, believe me, is traumatic enough!), but also the cable by which I charge my laptop.
Meaning that I have no access to most of my photos, my photo editing stuff, or my usual version of WordPress.
I do have the WordPress app on my phone, but it is a fickle and temperamental thing, not at all as warm and cuddly as it’s laptop-based big sister.
So we’ll have to see how I get on.
Please bear with me if my posts over the next few days are a little sporadic – and possibly a bit rubbish as far as pretty pictures go.
Normal service should hopefully be resumed on Friday.
Have a great break, no laptop will be good, we all need a little blog break ever now and again! I’m just off to catch up on your other posts…..enjoy the coast! 🙂 x
Thanks Ada! Hope you’re having a lovely Easter x
Lovely makes …and semolina … oh the memories … enjoy your break and have a lovely birthday … Bee xx
