The one drawback about having a nice weekend with the family is that things that should get done, don’t get done.
This morning was a bit of a rush as I had a deadline to meet.
I had been so busy having fun at the weekend that I hadn’t got round to finishing off the order for my brand new stockist, and it had to be done, delivered and me back home in time for lad’s return from school.
Cushions don’t just make themselves, unfortunately…
But thankfully Bernette behaved, minimal usage of the evil iron was required – and I made it in time!
I hopped on the bus into town loaded up with a couple of great big Ikea bags and up to West End Arcade.
Where from tomorrow, next door to Aubrey’s Traditional Creperie (another great little place to visit) you’ll find a really spiffy little gift shop called Bird in Borrowed Feathers.
The shop is brand new – the grand opening is today from 10 am until 6.30 pm – and you will be able to buy modflowers cushions there amongst all the other lovely things on offer from proprietors, sisters Hannah and Georgie.
One of the lovely things they sell is vintage fabric…
I have a feeling that I will be popping in for more than just to deposit cushions. ♥
That shop sounds wonderful!
Good on you! They look lovely. Would they stock my little girl dresses I wonder….may get in touch….xx
Worth asking! I just messages them on Facebook.
Hope it goes well and the cushions look great. Really like the fabric for the blue flower one.
This looks like a great outlet for you! The world needs more shops like this.
