Yesterday really felt like summer had begun at last.
It wasn’t exactly warm mind, but it was at least sunny for a change. So I got out into the garden and spent the morning levering up dandelions from the lawn with our new tool, to make the most of the weather.
After lunch it was time to get down to the task in hand: button-making for my new batch of brooches and pendants.
I got a fair few done.
Next job is glueing – my least favourite bit of making jewellery.
The smell of epoxy is not a pleasant thing.
But it will be diluted with some clean air in my lungs from a walk with lad and his dad in Shining Cliff Woods.
Pfaffing with fabrics, buttons and countryside, indoors and out, crafting and walking and family.
I can’t think of a nicer way to spend a Bank Holiday weekend. ♥
Nothing like a good old pfaff with your creativity! Buttons look fabulous!
I’m loving the new owls! Definately a great way to spend a bank holiday weekend. I shall be spending the afternoon sewing with friend in the garden, perfect!
Perfect bank holiday … easy-going fun and family … just lovely … have a good one … Bee xx
