I’ve spent rather a lot of time with this lot over the weekend.
Not quite all weekend though. There was time for other types of fun in between sewing.
I discovered I have a new food crush on Korean cuisine. Which is good for the soul, but could prove bad for the waistline.
But my main focus was on getting my little gang finished…
I think I’m a bit obsessed.
I can’t wait for tomorrow, so I can start a new gang. ♥
love them – they remind me of hippy, fun loving bunnies who go to festivals and plait flowers in their hair 🙂
I think you’ve just found your doll ‘thing’…. Now, how about some cat ones with a tail (think of it as just another accessory), or, definitely, mouse ones with the ears you’re so good at! And I’m so sorry, but I just love the idea of these bunny people in formal business clothes, but with their floral selves just peeking out… Ok, I’ll shut up now. Lovely work!
I should be paying you as a design consultant Kate! Fantastic ideas! I don’t currently have any fabric suitable for making formal business clothes…. might have to see what I can rummage up in the local charity shops…
I’m just seeing a boy bunny in a pinstripe suit and tie…. Besides, you did want a proper excuse to go and have a rummage, didn’t you?
Haha! I never need an excuse!
And when I read your comment I had exactly the same vision… although a full pinstripe suit might be a bit beyond my miniature tailoring skills! Would a waistcoat and trousers do?
I think so, but definitely a tie! Maybe if you made the suit in felt, so you didn’t have to finish lapel edges, and so on…?
I will have to see what I can come up with.
the happy gang! x
