Yesterday I went to deliver some stock to my favourite local emporium of loveliness.
Bee & Bird, which I may have mentioned before, opened recently just around the corner from me.
My cat cushions had already sold out, so I thought I’d pop a couple more in – just in case there were any more potential kitty-cushion customers around.
Little did I know that Leona, proprietress of said lovely emporium, had started to stock fabrics.
In particular, vintage fabrics, sourced from Ticking Stripes, from whom I have purchased lovely textile stuff in the past.
Almost before I knew it, I was spending my cat cushion earnings in Leona’s lovely shop.
Ah well, theres nothing like keeping it local, eh?
Perhaps, seeing the temptations I succumbed to, you can understand…
One thing’s for sure…
As long as vintage fabrics like these exist in this world, I shall never, ever be rich. ♥
Oh Lordy – got to pop up there later to drop some more stock off, better leave my purse at home!!
Loving that red/orange print… I’d have snapped that up too!! Cx
I love the fabric you purchased – who can blame you for buying such loveliness 🙂
But you have a wealth of vintage fabric and ingenious ideas for what to do with it all!
Ha! I would totally have done the same 🙂
